| Ecotech has NATA/ISO17025 Accreditation for providing wind sensor calibrations and is able to offer this service for a wide range of wind sensors in our CSIRO designed wind tunnel. |
This calibration service can be used by industry, research and community organisations to ensure their instruments are accurately measuring wind speed.
Ecotech can meet the needs of any organisation that needs to measure wind speed accurately. Typical users of our service include:
- Environmental protection authorities
- Air conditioning industry
- Construction companies
- Environmental researchers
- Wind energy organisations
We are able to calibrate all makes and models of conventional vane anemometers, hot wire anemometers, cup anemometers, pitot tubes and manometers. Both low and high speed calibrations are available.
- High Speed Test, calibrations are performed in the range 0.30 to 27 m s-1 with a measurement uncertainty of +/-1% or 0.05 m s-1 (whichever is greater) at a 95% confidence level with a K coverage factor of 2 unless otherwise stated.
- Low Speed Test, calibrations are performed in the range 0.30 to 15 m s-1 with a measurement uncertainty of 1% or 0.05 m s-1 (whichever is greater) at a 95% confidence level with a K coverage factor of 2 unless otherwise stated.
A NATA calibration certificate and graph is supplied as part of the calibration.
